Historic archive: Perception

First published in 1972, Perception has long been recognised as one of the foremost journals in its field. Its 37 volumes are a remarkable record of nearly forty years of advances in the study of perception in all its aspects.

The complete archive has been digitised and scholars can now have a fully searchable electronic record of the journal from its foundation.

The most recent 10 years of the back file are available free to current subscribers. Access to the deep archive—that is, the archive from the start of the journal in 1972 to 1999—will be available for purchase for a one-time fee. Combined, the 10-year back file and the deep archive will give users electronic access to everything published in Perception since its inception.

Publications available
The archive provides access to Perception from 1972 to 1999 and to the other Pion journals—the four Environment and Planning titles—from the start of publication in each case up to and including 1999. Access to the Perception archive can, however, be bought on its own. For each journal the period from 2000 to 2009 is covered by the 10-year back file available with a current subscription to that journal.
